An important part of our health community is the Behavioral Health program. These services are well respected by clinicians and staffed by caring professionals. We offer a welcoming and safe place to be during a time of personal crisis. With only 12 beds, our staff is able to take the time to provide very personal care to each patient. We offer a broad range of services close to home and completely confidential.

Behavioral Health Services are provided through health insurances and other funding sources. Individuals are never turned away due to their inability to pay. The Behavioral Health Unit is a part of the greater acute-care hospital under the auspices of Wyoming County, and certified for operation by the New York State Office of Mental Health and New York State Department of Health.

The hospital-based Behavioral Health Services primarily serve residents of Wyoming County and also care for residents of Genesee, Orleans, Allegany, Livingston, Erie, Monroe and other outlying counties as needed.
